Cabaret

Hi All -

Berlin in the early 30’s when Hitler and the Nazi Party were becoming ascendant, the sleazy "Kit - Kat Club" in the movie Cabaret acts as a metaphor chronicling the rise of Nazism, where decadence and sexual ambiguity were just part of the ambiance of that era.  Liza Minelli is Sally Bowles the featured performer of the club. This was Liza Minelli finest hour, and her performance is wonderful.

CABARET directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse (1972 124 min.)

Here is one of the early dance number from the movie, “Mein Herr”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qbEeRL94ziI
